Pingtan Island, China

About 2 hours outside of Fuzhou, China is an island connected by a long bridge called Pingtan. Scattered across the island are numerous old, small fishing villages that are a joy to experience. I found the locals warm and friendly within a unique atmosphere that provided great photo opportunities as well. Also...very lucky to have great weather to allow for wonderful sunrises. I hope you enjoy the people and the villages.
